French Country Book Bundle

And ... I'm back! In case you noticed, I dropped out of the blogosphere for a while due to some health issues and a short stay in the hospital. Thanking the Lord that everything turned out okay, except the huge bill I'm afraid I'll be seeing!

I am so happy to get back to the fun of creating and blogging! I have been smitten with those charming coverless book bundles all around blogland and in the magazines. So I ripped the covers off a couple of old books (I did feel a bit guilty doing it!) and got to work.

I found a charming vintage French postcard at The Graphics Fairy that I printed out on heavy cardstock.  The vintage ticket embellishment, coin and doily are all from my stash of vintage goodies.  Here is the finished project:

  4. Renee, Geesh, the hospital! That's no fun! So glad you are home and all is okay.
Sure loved the clock face you made--it was just perfect! Such a talented lady! And love the toile on your chair! It matches my shower curtain... take care and stay out of that hospital!
