I really love playing and creating in Microsoft Digital Image Pro. It's a photo editing software that many, including me, use for digital scrapbooking but it is so versatile. Unlike Photoshop, it is very user friendly and easily self taught. Best of all, you can usually find it on eBay for about $20!
Basically what it allows you to do besides scrapbooking and editing photos is to create projects with text and pictures, allowing you to modify the text a million different ways and move all over the page in layers.
Tonight I created this little project with a crown and a French Hotel design. I was able to tint my words to exactly match the crown and stretch and manipulate my fonts til they were just right.
Then I framed it in this beautiful, ornate frame I had found while thrifting. Instant art!
Love it! So if you can't find the art you want, make your own. Or stop by my Etsy shoppe! Thanks for visiting! Your comments make my day and if you were to become a follower ~ you've made my month! Hope to see you at the parties below.
Easy peasy, indeed! And so chic! Thanks for the tip on MDIP...I couldn't get a good handle on my trial version of PS and Picnik/Picasa has its limitations that I have yet to figure out. Happy New Year!
